KINDRED SPIRITS
Extraordinary, Wild-Hearted Friends
The wilder, more outrageous the spirit, the greater the mind, heart and soul!
Lemmy & Suzz Part 1
I met Lemmy, the founder, lead singer and bass player of the hard rock band, Motörhead, by tripping over him at our West Hollywood apartment building’s pool in 1998.
Shortly there after, I decided to create Pleasure Addict to share my enthusiasm for life and rock’nroll lifestyle, using t-shirt slogans to promote and campaign against the need to conform to society’s standards, attempt to control people’s experiences and life choices.
Due to our like-minded spirits, Lemmy was all for it and offered to help!
Lemmy’s knowledge of symbology & iconology, as well as his talent and enjoyment of drawing was unparalleled. He drew my original trademark type styles & logos by hand, ALL of which I treasure, keep in a special box.
Lemmy & Suzz Forever
Lemmy “got me" more than anyone else that's ever been in my life, then in 1998 and until the end of his life in 2015.
From the get go, we had an easy going, natural sort of bond, like we already knew each other, forever. Within a short time, he became my best friend, big brother, closer than family, until his passing December 28, 2015.
I will always feel appreciated for all his love, attention and support throughout our almost 20 year friendship.
RIP Ian Fraser Kilmister. No one will ever be able to fill your boots!
